We are a family-owned, independently run business that has been serving our customers since 1978.
As a combined team, we have a total of over 100 years experience in the motor trade so we are confident when we say you're in safe hands.
Robert, (or Bob to his friends) has run his family business since 1978. He started with a few cars and over time has managed to build his stock and customer base. As our pictures and introductory video show, the premises have seen a few facelifts over the years however Robert has stayed in Beighton village, Sheffield for over 45 years.
Our customer base has been built over the years based on trust, no pressure, honesty and good service, which is why we have been serving some of the same customers and their families and friends for decades.
We deliberately have a small select team who pride themselves on offering a level of service which will put all your needs first.
Our team includes Robert's wife Jackie, Robert's son Will, and our Sales Manager Mark.
Robert has seen many changes in the motor trade over the decades but still loves it now into his 70s. He is a man without a mobile phone, born before the internet was invented and has no concept at all of emails or social media. Therefore, we've affectionately nicknamed him "The Dinosaur". He is however always on the other end of the phone to offer his advice and answer any questions you may have.
Mark has been in the motor trade himself for over 40 years, having worked previously at 6 other dealerships in and around the Sheffield area. Mark has been with us for over 20 years as our Sales Manager, he is approachable, friendly and despite losing all the car keys on a regular basis helps everything run smoothly.
Will has always been a petrolhead from a very young age, inspired by his Dad's love for cars. Will has worked at Robert Cooper Cars for 12 years and is now involved in all roles in the business. He has single-handedly been struggling to drag the other two into the 21st Century since his arrival, but after convincing them that the internet does actually exist in recent years is finally seeing some progress... Jackie is the real boss and provides an important duty in keeping us all in check. She calls in regularly to make sure we are keeping the place sparkling and working hard.
